The APC AP7569 is a basic rack power distribution unit built for data centers, server rooms, and network closets that need dependable power without giving up valuable rack space. It mounts vertically along the side of a standard rack, so none of the rack units you rely on for servers or switches are occupied. This layout also keeps cabling organized and allows airflow to move freely through the rack.

The unit supplies up to 14.4 kilowatts at 208 volts from a single 50-amp input. Twenty-four C13 outlets handle common servers and network hardware, four C19 outlets support equipment that draws more current, and two L6-30R outlets are ready for larger devices or redundant power feeds. With this range of receptacles in one place, you can power a mixed environment without extra adapters or separate PDUs.

Setup is straightforward. A three-foot line cord equipped with a CS8365 plug reaches nearby power whips, and the included mounting hardware lets one person secure the PDU quickly. Because it is a passive, non-monitored model, there is no software to configure; once connected, it simply delivers stable power around the clock.
