The Chief LSB100 is a lateral shift bracket for the RPA Series projector mounts, designed to give installers precise side to side positioning after the mount is already in place. It lets you slide the projector lens as much as 3 inches to the right or left, so alignment with the screen is simple even when the ceiling joist or mounting point is not perfectly centered.
When you work with lighter projectors that weigh less than 15 pounds, the bracket provides an additional 2 ¼ inches of travel, giving you a total of 5 ¼ inches of adjustment flexibility. This added range can be the difference between a perfectly centered image and one that requires keystone correction or an unsightly ceiling patch.
The quick-disconnect feature built into the bracket stays fully functional, allowing a projector to be removed in seconds for lamp changes, filter cleaning, or security checks, and then re-attached without realignment. The All-Points Security System integrates tamper-resistant hardware at every connection, which helps protect equipment in classrooms, corporate meeting rooms, or public venues.
