First edition, first printing oversized hardcover copy of Man After Man: An Anthropology of the Future by Douglas Dixon (St. Martin’s Press, 1990). Incredibly rare science fiction / speculative fiction book which proposes several varieties of possible evolutionary varieties of the species, homo sapien. Bizarre and thought provoking collection of what man could become in a varieties of habitats and situations. With foreword by Brian Aldiss and illustrations by Philip Hood.
Book is in great shape. Some very mild cover scuffing with shelf wear around the edges. Jacket protected in new (removable) archival sleeve. Boards are straight and clean but with corners slightly bumped. A few instances where binding material is visible in gutter though spine is straight and binding remains strong. All pages clean and unmarked save for remainder mark and small blemish to front free endpaper where a sticker was removed. See photos for condition. Packaged with care and shipped via USPS Media Mail
