Clippo the Clown was manufactured by Effanbee and offered for sale in the late 30's & 40's. He is 14" tall (24" with strings) with hands, feet, and head made of composition. He is in beautiful condition for the year made. Marked on the neck with an incised He comes dressed in his original red and white polka dot clown suit with organdy neck ruffle and plastic hat. He has his original strings and wooden bars. He would make a nice addition to any collection and is hard to find in this condition with book of instructions. No box. Please review each picture carefully. This is a 80 year old doll and is going to show some signs of age.
