Rockwell's 5-amp 4-1/2-in corded circular saw (RK3441K) can essentially eliminate the need for a full-size 7-1/4 inch circular saw. With a 4-1/2 inch blade, the saw cuts 2x4s in a single pass and is about 50 percent lighter than conventional 7-1/4 inch circular saws. Weighing only 5 lbs., it is easy to transport and maneuver. Its slim, inline grip design provides great comfort, balance, and control. Because the smaller, thinner blade takes much less effort and motor strain to cut through material, the saw can easily match the performance of a full-size equivalent. The saw ensures a tidy workspace and easy cleanup with a dust extraction port and 1-1/4 inch vacuum adapter.
