Materials: various hardwoods, curly maple, wenge, padauk, walnut, ash, cherry, mahogany
One of a kind, "woven wood" Charcuterie (Hors D'oeuvres) board 1/4" x 6.75" x 15.75" Hardwoods used are "book-ended curly maple," Padauk for red, Wenge for black, Ipe for the sun's outline, and cherry. The design is not inlaid. It runs through and through from one side of the board to the other. It requires seven gluing/sanding sessions, Condition is "New and unique". Finished with two coats of food grade mineral oil and beeswax which leaves a luxurious feeling to the touch. Fine lined wooden abstract design inspired by a brilliant summer sunrise over Quonochontaug Pond, (Known locally as "Quonny Pond") The board is assembled with waterproof glue so that it can be cleaned and dried with mild soap and water (Waterproof glue is not heat proof so no dishwashers, please). Refinish with food grade mineral oil.
