These Kéne art pieces were made in the jungle of Iquitos, Peru by a Shipibo-Conibo shamanic family. The Shipib are an indigenous tribe that have been working with Ayahuasca and Sacred Plant Medicines for centuries. The artwork represents the visions caused by the sacred plant during ceremonies. It is said that these designs offer protection and well-being to those in possession of the textiles.
