About the book
"A collaboration between Ethicon Suture Laboratories (part of the Johnson & Johnson Family of Companies) and nurses, the Cat-A-Log was a booklet filled with cute photographs of felines. While Ethicon supplied the photos, its nurses wrote the captions. Ethicon explained that the adorable picture book was a tribute to one of Johnson & Johnson’s first products, the catgut suture. Although “catgut" sounds of feline origin, the iconic sutures were actually made from collagen."
